Dr. Justin Mallet

 

Dr. Justin Mallett is the Associate Provost of Diversity and Inclusion at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.

In his role, Dr. Mallett provides vision and direction for university-wide efforts to ensure the Northwest community is an inclusive campus environment of the Northwest and serves as a liaison to community partners on diversity initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Mallett served as an admissions counselor and coordinator of New Student Orientation at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Mallett has also served as the Director of Multicultural Affairs at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Dr. Mallett received a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before completing a master’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Mallett completed his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in Madison, WI.

 Mallett grew up in Kosciusko, Mississippi, where his parents still live. Mallett and his wife, Dana, have two children, Jayden (14) and Maya (9).
