SERVING THE MISSION

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the academy to help ensure Black staff, faculty, administration and students have the necessary support to do advance and excel.

Leadership allows institutions to blend the strengths and perspectives of all their higher education professionals, especially Blacks so they can achieve institutional goals. Leadership is important to an academy for connection, collaboration, and community.

“Education means emancipation. It means light and liberty. It means the uplifting of the soul of man into the glorious light of truth, the light by which men can only be made free.”
